My first Haiku poem

Inspired by the 'Poetry Reading in a foreign language: Developing the sense of voice in the EFL classroom' from my recent CamTESOL Conference, I was tempted to compose my own Haiku poem :D

And here we go:

Deep blue, shining sky:
Sinking as it came washing
Shattered pieces in me.

Haiku is a form of Japanese poerty whose structural features including of 17 syllables (5-7-5). It needs seasonal reference and also a cutting word, which in this case is the use of the colon. One thing interesting about Haiku is that it provides multiple interpretations.

So, how do you interpret my Haiku? :)
